Learn To Play In A Band

Our fall session begins September 14th, 2024!
 
Here’s what our Rock Band program entails:
  • Rock out for less. Over 24 hours of well-rounded, expert guidance from multiple instructors for the price of 13 private lessons—more than double what you’d get with private music lessons.
  • Take the stage. An opportunity to show off your new skills at the end of the semester in an exciting live-stage performance.
  • Capture the moment. A professionally mixed audio and video recording of your final performance that you can share with friends and family.
  • Jam with new friends. Learn to play as a unit (groove, dynamic, tightness) and connect with fellow musicians of similar age and experience levels in a fun, easy-going social environment. 
  • Master your gear. Gain the confidence and knowledge to handle your instrument and gear like a pro. 
  • Curate your own playlist. Dive into a carefully curated selection of songs chosen by your band. Learn about song structures, lyrics, parts, tempo, and practicing with hands-on experience that will expand your musical repertoire and skill set.

Rock School

Ready to rock out? Our Rock School program welcomes musicians of all skill levels who are eager to jam in a band setting. You’ll dive into rock music, sharpen your performance skills, and collaborate with other rockers. With regular rehearsals and coaching from seasoned instructors, you’ll enhance your music abilities, master teamwork, and gain invaluable stage experience. It’s the perfect choice for anyone looking to amp up their rock skills in a fun, supportive group environment.

Our Music Philosophy

Founded in 2017, NDG Music School has roots that stretch back to Jon’s first “Live From The Garage” show in 2006. Since then, over 500 students have shared in this musical journey, helping our school to grow and thrive. Today, our team includes many alumni from both Live From The Garage and NDG Music School.
We welcome students of all ages and skill levels, focusing on bringing people together through music. In our group music lessons, students pursue their passions and choose their own songs. For those in private lessons, we offer personalized curriculums and expert guidance tailored to each individual’s needs.
